ANTICIPATED DEVELOPMENT AND OUTCOMES

The residency is designed to support:

 

– New or substantially revised papers, essays, lectures, and research projects

– More precise historical, theoretical, philosophical, editorial, and curatorial methodologies

– Stronger relationships among questions, evidence, concepts, arguments, and forms of presentation

– Public contributions at the seventh Bled Contemporary Music Week

– Collaborative working groups and durable international research relationships

– New approaches to criticism, programming, mediation, documentation, and institutional analysis

– Publication-ready development where appropriate, without presuming editorial acceptance

– Future publications, symposia, curatorial projects, archives, and interdisciplinary collaborations

 

Outcomes will vary by project. The residency recognizes intellectual development not only in completed outputs, but also in reformulated questions, revised assumptions, clarified methods, identified gaps, and more responsible accounts of the materials, practices, or communities under study.
